September 20, 2016  Dear Members,      Produce boxes contain a pound of heirloom Italian shelling beans called Tongue of Fire.  These beans are best shelled, boiled for up 50 minutes and seasoned before adding to stew, soup, blended in a dip or incorporated into stir fry.  Plan on eating them in the next 5 days as fresh beans are quite special.  If you do want to dry them, I suggest shelling them before […]
