Laguna Farm Happenings!
Dear Members,
We are putting “pre-order” forms in everyone’s boxes with the hope that we can assist you in ordering extra produce for Thanksgiving week.  The pre-order forms have many of the items already featured in our online store, but it also includes carrots, chard, beets, cranberries, and more seasonal offerings that we usually only have at our farm-stand.  Our Thanksgiving box is subject to change, but the expected contents are listed in our online store and on facebook.  We highly encourage you to fill out this form and have it to the farm by Friday November 21 at 12:00.
This order form helps the farm harvest and purchase exactly what is needed during Thanksgiving week.

If you know of anyone who might like to have a local Thanksgiving, please encourage them to try out our CSA.  They can order a “one-time” Thanksgiving box and cook up the local harvest.
 Be well,

Jennifer Branham

Tuesday Produce Boxes:
Salad mix, Chard, Turnips, Parsnips, Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes, Leeks.
Thursday Produce Boxes:
Salad mix, Chard, Turnips, Parsnips, Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes, Leeks.
Baked Parsnip Fries with Rosemary is a wonderful recipe that epicurious features.  The parsnips are quick and easy to make.  Try it this week and consider it for your Thanksgiving feast!

Juice Boxes Contains:
Chard, Carrots, Beets, Celery, Apples, Cucumbers.
We should have cucumbers on the farm for a couple more weeks.  They blend so nicely with most greens and roots.  The simple hydrating cucumber will join us again in May of 2015.
Eating in season brings us to “miss” a number of favorites.  During the winter months, citrus fruits will replace the cucumbers and apples and we will enjoy the sweetening of the roots and ever presence of the greens.
