Membership and dropoff sites

Our CSA program is currently at capacity, but there are a few spaces available if you are interested in a dropoff site. Signing up for a dropoff site means that the boxes are delivered to a home or business that has offered to host, and you pick up your box there. We currently have sites in north Santa Rosa, east Santa Rosa, Cotati, and two in Petaluma. Fill out the Sign Up sheet by clicking on “CSA Signup” to the right, and we’ll email you to give you more detail.

Accepting New Members: Farm Pick up Tuesday, Thursday

We have increased our harvest so we can now offer membership for Tuesday or Thursday farm pick up only. Our truck is still packed full so our only openings are if you can come to the farm and pick up. To become a member, fill out the Sign Up Sheet at the right and our administrative staff will get back to you within a week or so.

If you would like to be on a waiting list for a drop site in Santa Rosa or Petaluma, please email info@lagunafarm.com and we will add you to our drop site waiting list.

Price Changes effective August 1, 2007

Greetings everyone and an important announcement:
we’ve put it off for three years, but due to ever-increasing costs of doing business, we will need to implement a price increase.
Effective August 1, 2007, prices will be:

Subscription box: $17.00
Drop-off site option: $4.00
Delivery option: $6.50

Here’s the new quarterly payment steps:

How to Estimate Quarterly Payments

52 weeks in a year
52 divided by 12 months = 4.33 bins in a month
One quarter is 4.33 times 3 mos = 13 bins

So a quarterly bill is 13 times $17.00/bin = $221.00
If you are everyother week it would be = $110.50

Drop site members would add 13 times $4.00
Home delivery members would add 13 times $6.50
Fruit share remains at $6.00 per box
Organic bread remains at $4.00 per box

Hi All,
Laguna Farm has a high class problem…we are full and so is our truck route. We have started a waiting list for new members for farm pickup only. If you would like to be on our waiting list, go ahead and fill out our online application using the CSA Signup form on the right. Please do NOT send in your $75.00 membership fee. Our administrative staff will contact you when your application reaches the top of the waiting list. Farmer Scott’s Mom’s QuiltOn Display at The Wine Emporium

Sebastopol, CA (April 29, 2007) The Wine Emporium is pleased to announce internationally acclaimed quilt maker, author and lecturer, Judy Mathieson, as our featured artist in the Gallery.

——-——-The public is invited to attend the artist’s reception on Sunday, May 27 from 3-6 pm. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

Mathieson will be on hand to discuss her colorful quilts and inspirations. The exhibition will highlight the “Shadowed Circles” design, including a quilt made from remnants of antique Kimonos. The show runs through August 31st.

Mathieson became interested in quilt-making in 1973 while completing a BS degree at California State, Northridge. Since then, her work has received numerous prizes at National and International Quilt Competitions. She is certified as a Judge for the National Quilt Association.

Mathieson and husband Jack reside in Sonoma County. She conducts workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, Scotland, New Zealand and England. For more information on the artist, please visit www.JudyMathieson.com

The Wine Emporium is located at 125 North Main Street, in Sebastapol. They feature the work of prominent and rising northern California artists, and provide wine tasting, consulting, and sales coast to coast.
